International Workers’ Day and Abestos Awareness
On the occasion of the International Workers’ Memorial Day 2012, on April 28th, there’s a series of public events in Italy that are aimed at raising the awareness toward the hazard of asbestos and remember the three key actions: justice, scientific research and decont
AFeVA organizes a major event in Casale Monferrato: a silent rally will start at 6.15 pm in Piazza Castello and will make its way to the Eternit plant where the people will put a white rose on the gate.
At 9 pm at the city theatre, there will be a performance of the play “Come una clessidra” (Like an hourglass) by Enrico Pesce.
The long list of events in memory of the victims of asbestos, already started on April 21st with the chorus concert in honour of Luisa Minazzi and will officially ends on May 8th, with the opera by Giacomo Puccini “Gianni Schicchi”, check here.
